The Gift of Confidence: How Dental Veneers Can Transform Your Smile for the New Year

The new year is the perfect time to restore your confidence and refresh your smile. If you hide your teeth because of chips, stains, or uneven spacing, let 2026 be the year you fall in love with your smile again. Dental veneers can help you do just that.

Here at Chelsea Dental Aesthetics in New York City, you can get started with dental veneers and enjoy a radiant, natural-looking smile that helps you start the year feeling your best.

Take a moment as Dr. David Blaustein shares how veneers can transform your smile.

What are dental veneers?

Dental veneers are paper-thin (yet durable), custom-made porcelain shells that cover only the fronts of your teeth. Dental veneers are versatile and can improve the shape, color, and size of your teeth. They can even address minor alignment issues.

Veneers can correct common concerns like:

The best part? Veneers can do all this without extensive dental work.

How the transformation process works

We complete the veneer process in three phases:

Schedule consultation and smile design

Dr. Blaustein and the Chelsea Dental Aesthetics team begin with a personalized consultation to design your ideal smile. It’s a chance for you to share your aesthetic goals, what you love about your current smile, and what you’d like to refine.

We can customize every aspect of your veneers, including the shape, size, and color. It’s a fun conversation to design your new smile.

Prepare your teeth and take impressions

We permanently secure veneers to your teeth with dental-grade adhesive, but Dr. Blaustein must first prep your teeth for your veneers. He removes a tiny bit of enamel — just a fraction of a millimeter — from the surface of your teeth.

He then takes impressions of your teeth to ensure that your permanent veneers fit perfectly.

Deliver your new smile

When your veneers are ready, you return to our office for placement. At this appointment, Dr. Blaustein “seats” your restoration. He etches your teeth and then applies a bonding agent before affixing the veneers.

You’re free to head home afterward. Taking care of your veneers is easy. Brush and floss as you usually would, and avoid chewing on non-food items.

A smile transformation for the new year

A beautiful smile can change how you see yourself and how others see you. Veneers provide an instant transformation, brightening your teeth and creating symmetry that enhances your entire face.

Many people say their veneers help them smile more freely, speak more confidently, and make better first impressions, personally and professionally. Smiling can also boost your mood, boost your immune system, and even help reduce minor pain.

Give yourself a gift that extends well beyond 2026

There’s no better way to step into the new year than with confidence. If you’re ready to invest in your smile or give a loved one the joy of self-confidence, call our office in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan or request an appointment online today.
